Tuensang, February 29 (MExN): The 48th Annual Sports Week of Sao Chang College (SCC) Tuensang was held successfully from February 26-28.
Students divided into four teams and competed in various sports disciplines such as track and field events, football, volleyball, badminton etc during the event, informed a press release from the SCC.
During the opening ceremony on February 26, Er Moamongba DPO from the Department of Land Resources, Tuensang, was the special guest, while SCC Principal Dr. Lanurenla gave the welcome address. The sports events commenced after an oath-taking ceremony led by Sports Secretary SCC Students’ Union, P Punam.
The release further attributed the success of its 48th Annual Sports Week to the meticulous planning and coordination by the organising committee, the dedication of the participants, and the support of faculty and staff.
The event showcased the college’s commitment to holistic development and fostering a healthy competitive spirit among students, it added.
