Tuensang, April 16 (MExN): Sao Chang College (SCC) organised a workshop on “Basic Digital Skills and Use of Google Forms” for non-teaching staff at its Conference Hall on April 15.

The workshop, organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), aimed to enhance digital literacy and enable staff to efficiently carry out day-to-day administrative tasks in a technology-driven environment.

Resource person Tekameren Walling, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, SCC, introduced participants to tools such as Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Google Docs, and demonstrated how to create forms, design questionnaires, add different types of questions, and share them through links.

Participants were also trained to view responses, organise data, and download it for further use. Practical examples, including attendance collection, feedback, and survey data, were used to make the session more relevant and application-oriented.

The workshop emphasised hands-on learning, ensuring that participants could follow the process regardless of their prior digital experience, informed an SCC release.

The initiative aimed to bridge the digital gap and promote continuous learning among staff, it added.
