Tuensang, April 1 (MExN): The Research Committee of Sao Chang College, Tuensang conducted inter-departmental seminar on April 1.
The college media cell in a press release stated that in the seminar, Y Toninaro Chongpho, Assistant Professor & Research Scholar, Department of Sociology presented her paper on the topic ‘Historicizing the Emergence of backward tribe in a tribal State: A study of Chang Naga Tribe’ and Dr Limamanen Phom, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology presented his paper on the topic ‘Parkinson’s Disease: Lessons from Drosophila Model.’
The seminar was chaired by Dr Soyimla Akum, Assistant Professor, Department of English and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr T Lal Veda Chandra Kumar, Coordinator, Research Committee. Rapporteurs for the seminar were Chideno Shitire, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and Dr Aola Supong, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry.
A total of 23 faculty members attended the seminar.
