
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 4 (MExN): Sao Chang College, Tuensang has informed all its students that it will now be mandatory for all students to wear their respective tribal traditional attires on every Wednesday in the college. A notification from the Principal of the college, Dr AN Shoga said that this move has been taken with the aim to “protect and promote” Naga culture and tradition, while instilling a sense of pride in one’s own culture among the students. The directive will come into effect beginning August 7. “Students' communities are hereby directed to abide by the instructions and notification order of the College dress code,” it was added.
