SARK (SC) saddened by resolution of ENPO

Dimapur, January 8 (MExN): The SARK-SC (Sumi Ao Rengma Kyong – Students’ Co-ordination) is saddened to learn about the resolution of the ENPO for separate statehood.
Expressing this in a press statement SARK-SC stated that a time when the Naga society is under taking a Journey of common hope for ‘Reconciliation’, the decision of the ENPO to break away from the main land Nagaland is quite “shocking” and a big setback to the Nagas’ long cherished dream to live under one administrative umbrella. The statement was appended by SARK (SC) Convener, Abeto l. Shohe, Secretary, Bendang Aier, Co- Convener Kenneth Kath and Joint Secretary Yiben Humtsoe
SARK (SC) however, acknowledges that there must be genuine reasons for the ENPO to take such extreme decision, yet, there is always a possibility of thrashing out differences over negotiating tables. The SARK is convinced that the recent move of ENPO for separate Frontier Nagaland will crush the desire and aspiration of the younger generation to live together as one Naga family.
In this regard, the SARK (SC) while sending strong message that it will strive for a united and vibrant Naga society through reconciliation, fervently appeal to the ENPO to reconsider its decision for the sake of the future younger Naga generation.
