Medziphema, September 16 (MExN): School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS), Nagaland University observes Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2023 at its Medziphema campus on September 16 by organising a cleanliness drive.
The cleanliness drive was led by Prof L Daiho, Dean & PVC i/c which saw participation from staff and students of NU, SAS. The participants engaged in cleaning the hostel premises, instructional farms, guest houses, office premises, pathways while also planting avenue plants that would facilitate a clean and green environment.
The Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof Jagdish K Patnaik also participated and planted two tree saplings outside the SAS Educational museum complex. In his brief remark, he encouraged all the participants to practice healthy living in a clean environment.
