Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): The Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee from January 17 to 21, 2012 in Jakhama Village. A press note issued by Vilelie Khamo, Convenor, Planning-cum-Organising Committee SASA Golden Jubilee stated that Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio will grace the occasion as chief guest to declare the Golden Jubilee open by hoisting the Association’s Flag and erecting the Jubilee Monolith Stone in the inaugural function on January 17 at 9.00 am.
The closing function will be held on Janaury 21 with MLA K.V. Pusa and Er. Vikho-o Yoshu as the guest of honours. They shall give away the prizes to the winners. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the Naga Wrestling will be motor cars apart from the other attractive prizes. Therefore, the note also informed all the 13 constituent Village Youth Associations, different committees constituted for the Golden Jubilee to be prepared for the SASA Golden Jubilee Celebration in a befitting manner by fully co-operating and actively participating in the ensuing Jubilee.
