SASU 61st biennial conference from Feb 4

Kohima, January 29 (MExN): The Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) will hold its 61st biennial general conference from February 4-6 at Pfüchama village under the theme “Be the difference that makes a difference.”
Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, chairman, Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board and advisor, Music Task Force will the chief guest while guest of honour will be Er. Vikho-o Yhoshü, advisor, IT &C. MLA KV Pusa will act as the introductory guest, Menukhol John, commissioner and secretary, health & family welfare as academic guest and Dr. Atsi Dolie, lecturer, Shalom Bible Seminary as devotional guest. The three day long conference will be marked by folk song, couple show, solo and duet, debate and extempore speech.
There will also be inter-unit volleyball matches for both male and female and tug of war.
The patrons for the conference includes; Viketol Sakhrie (chief patron), Zaku Tsükrü (IGP Fire), Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Kevithüto Sophie, Er. Khose Sale, Dr. Viral Yore, Puvil Yore, Puvil Kikhi, Er. Pukroneizo Kera, Vikhozo Vitsu and Er. Krozü Sale.
Meanwhile, all the units have been asked to submit a Photostat copy of mark sheet of their respective members securing the highest percentage in the final academic examinations of 2010 in the section of nursery, primary, middle and high school. All the delegates have also been asked to reach the host village latest by 12:00 noon on February 4 and at the same time all the unit must come prepared with at least two items for the SASU fun-vaganza.
