Kohima, March 4 (MExN): The Saptiqa Area Students' Union (SASU) will begin its educational tour from March till the academic session for the year 2019 ends. This was unanimously decided during the presidential meet on March 2, a release from, President Toino Awomi stated. The” tour is being initiated to help the students propel towards progress and to encourage the teaching fraternity to impart quality education so that students are able to keep up with their counterpart from urban areas as they enter higher education,” the union said.
The tour will be headed by four students bodies consecutively each month under the banner Of SASU, it was further stated. The union also called for support and cooperation of leaders and well wishers from Saptiqa area for the welfare of the students community. It also reminded on earlier resolution to ban impersonation/proxy teacher at Saptiqa government high school and stated that it “will not hesitate to report the defaulting person to the higher office.”
