SAVDBA resolves to implement ‘clean election’

Suruhoto, July 20 (MExN): The Suruhoto Asuto Village Development Board Association (SAVDBA) conducted a general meeting on July 15 at RD Office conference hall, Suruhoto which was attended by Suruhuto Area Public organisation, Suruhuto Kukami Hoho, Suruhuto Range Students’ Union, Suruhuto Totimi Hoho, Church Leaders Fellowship, Tuzu Island Kukami Hoho and chairman of 29 villages.  

SAVDBA president Tokhevi and general secretary Honito Aye in a press release stated that the house deliberated on ‘clean election for better development’ and unanimously resolved that opening of political camp during election will be banded. All the intending candidates and political parties are to have common camping and platform at every village to deliver their aims and objectives for betterment of the area concerned. Use of alcohol and intoxicating drugs and all such prohibited items will be restricted. The house further resolved to implement rules and regulations under the Election Commission of India.  

Further, all the respective organisation, union and hoho are directed to bring out modalities for further implementation in the next meeting which is scheduled tentatively on August 23 at the RD Office conference hall, Suruhoto.
