Presentation of special number during the launching programme of yearlong silver jubilee celebration of SAWO on October 13.

Kohima, October15 (MExN): The Southern Angami Women Organization (SAWO) has launched its yearlong silver jubilee celebration on October 13 last at Viswema under Kohima district.
SAWO was formed in 1997 with Zakieviü Kechü as its first president. SAWO was formed with its primary objective to fight and seek justice for crimes against women in various ways.
The main celebration of 25 years existence of SAWO has been scheduled for October 13 next year with the theme “Let us transmit the values and conducts pursued by our forefathers.”
Earlier, the launching ceremony was chaired by SAWO president Khriesino Rikha while Ako S Sale talked on jubilee theme and yearlong activities of the jubilee.
Welcome address was delivered Zaküsünu Rhetso, chairperson Viswema Women Society while vote of thanks was proposed by Jalesoü Yhoshü, advisor SAWO.
