SBAK ends pastors’ seminar

Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): Sumi Baptist Churches Association (SBAK) Aizuto has concluded pastors’ renewal and development seminar, which was held under the theme, “The life of pastor and his family.” A total of 65 delegates (pastors) from different churches attended the seminar, according to a press release issued by Media & Communication, Literature in-charge SBAK, K Nitoyi Awomi.

The resource persons were Rev. Dr. Joshua Rochill, Executive Secretary; Hetoli I. Chishi, Women Secretary; Rev. Picuto Yeputhomi, Mission & Evangelism Secretary; Rev. Mulato Chishi, principal, ATC. They spoke on the topics: “Renewal & development vision of pastors,” “Shepherding the sheep,” “How to bring lost souls to Christ,” and “Expository preaching & contextualizing the gospel” respectively.

The seminar speakers were Rev. Yehoto Chishi, Evangelist; Rev. Vitoshe K. Aye, Youth Secretary cum Director Urban Ministry; Rev. Tokhezhe Kiba, Executive Director, NSBAK. The Executive Secretary, the note said, extended gratitude to all program officials for their effort and resourceful messages and also all church leaders for cooperation in making the program a grand success.

Administrative building of SBAK Aizuto was also inaugurated on February 16, 2014 by Rev. Dr. Joshua Rochill, Executive Secretary, in the presence of Council members, SBAK staffs, Church leaders, well wishers, and Er. Kahoto Sema, Chairman, Executive Council and Additional Director, Industries & Commerce Nagaland, Kohima.
