SBCE celebrates silver jubilee

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): Sumi Baptist Church Eralibill (SBCE) observed its silver jubilee on March 7 with "Ampeuno alaghi kumtsü lo ningu kuphu tsu" (1 Samuel 7:12) as its theme. 

Executive Secretary of WSBAK, Rev Dr Phughoto Aye unveiled a monolith erected to mark the celebrations of the jubilee and also shared a message on the occasion based on 1 Samuel 7.

Rev Dr Shiwoto Assumi, senior pastor, NCRC (Sumi) Purana Bazaar read a scripture from the Bible and offered a prayer. 

Rev Vitoshe Swu, senior pastor, Dimapur Town Sumi Baptist Church released the jubilee souvenir. Rev Dr Hevukhu Achumi, senior pastor, Thilixu Baptist Church was the speaker of the afternoon service.

Hukiye Tissica exhorted the gathering while Akashe Zhimomi, GB of Eralibill welcomed the congregation. 
Hukheshe Swu proposed the vote of thanks. 

Host of dignitaries from neighboring churches, villages and colonies attended the celebrations.
