SBI conducts town hall meeting in Dimapur

Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): To promote digital banking, the State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Dimapur in collaboration with the District Administration conducted a Town Hall Meeting at Don Bosco Hall, Dimapur on March 15.  

According to a press note received here, the meeting started with a key note address and introductory session by Besii Bosco, Chief Manager, Lead Bank ,SBI, RBO Dimapur while Thangboi Lunkim, Regional Manager, SBI, Dimapur gave the welcome address and briefed the participants the purpose.  

He also stressed on importance of taking feedbacks from the customers for improving customer services, it said.  

James Swu, SDO (Civil), Dimapur shared concerns of the Government in creating digital awareness amongst all sections of the society and the initiatives of the District Administration in forming a campaign called “Digi Dimapur”. He also encouraged and urged the gatherings to use digital platforms which are more convenient, easy and user friendly, it added.  

Power point presentations on digital banking products of State Bank of India namely mobile wallet (Buddy), internet banking, SBI Pay (Unified Payment Interface of SBI), process of green pin generation etc were the main highlights of the digital awareness programme. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Chief Manager.
