SBI Mao Gate branch inaugurated

Our Correspondent Mao Gate | May 31   The State Bank of India (SBI) Mao Gate Branch with ATM facility was formally inaugurated by PVSN Murty, chief general manager, SBI North East Circle, Guwahati at Taxi parking, near SDO office.   With this, the strength of SBI branches in Manipur state has gone upto 34. Speaking on the occasion, Murty called upon the people to properly utilize the provided facility and gain maximum benefit from it.   Impressed by immense potential of entrepreneurship in the area with the production of vegetables, fruits and flowers in abundance, he assured that the SBI will open market linkages for the people.   He said the SBI desire to take the people to the front seat of economic prosperity.   Also speaking on the occasion, MLA L. Dikho from 48th Mao A/C assured that the people of the area will make this bank a profit making branch.   Also stating that the people of the area are peace loving people, he also assured to extend security for smooth functioning of the bank.   Panna Lal Das, general manager, Network- II, SBI North East Circle, Guwahati also called upon the public to take full advantage of this financial institution to enhance their economic activities.   Maintaining that the opening of this SBI branch will carry huge impact on the lives of the people, Hriini, president Northern Mao Union hoped that it would have a fruitful dealing with the people and improve the economy of the populace.   A.Lolly Moses, deputy general secretary SBI Staff Association North East Circle also extended fullest cooperation to the management of this Mao gate branch.
