The State Bank of India inaugurated its branch at Jakhama Town today.
Delivering the address after cutting the ribbon, Chief General Manager, Guwahati Circle, Sahadevan Radhakrishnan said that banks are opened to provide service and serve the people. In this regard, he called the banking staffs to replicate this and have an attitude of service.
The CGM informed that the newly opened SBI branch will provide all kinds of banking services including investment, loans, insurance among others. Radhakrishnan said how far the bank will support the people depends on how the people support and strengthen it.
Towards this, he urged the people to make use full use of the branch services.
Southern Angami Public Organization president, Er Tepul Hopovi, expressed hope that this new branch which has been placed at a strategic place to cater to the various banking services especially for Jakhama villagers, Southern Angami villagers or students will act as a beacon of financial stability for providing safe and reliable services.
Hopovi also hoped that it will generate employing and entrepreneurship.
DGM (B&O), Jorhat Module while delivering the welcome address, dedicated the branch to the people of Jakhama and informed that this is the 39th branch under Dimapur circle and the 73rd branch in Nagaland.
She further assured to reach its banking services to all corners of Nagaland.
Vishuthazo Kirha, Youth President, Jakhama village also delivered short speech. Tshewuzo Rhakho, Branch Manager, SBI Jakhama town will lead the branch.
