Peren, September 30 (MExN): State bank of India (SBI) - Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) conducted a 30 days House Wiring Programme at its Institute in Jalukie, Peren from September 1-30.
A press release from Seiminngam Chongloi, Administrative Office Assistant stated that the resource person was Jangthaodai Panmei, electrical expert. 30 candidates from different areas of the districts participated in the training programme.
The trainees were given training on electrical house wiring and home appliances under its residential training programme free of cost. The validictory program was chaired by JC Bhuyan, Director SBI-RSETI.
The Director in his validcitory address spoke about the importance of house wiring and advised the trained candidates to use the talent acquired for generating income and urged the candidates to be self-reliant.
Certificates were awarded by the Director to the candidates. The training program aims to mitigate unemployment and under-employment problems among the rural youths in the country, it was further stated. The release also added that the institute will be organizing mushroom cultivation on October 3-12. Interested aspirants can collect application forms from the office during the office hours.
