DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 29 (MExN): Two days annual games and sports week of Sangtam Baptist Lithro Duncan, Dimapur culminated today at the church campus with hundreds of believers participating in different events.
In the women’s category, Burma Camp Women group were declared as champion while Super Market Women Group were adjudged as the runner-up in women's category. In men’s category, Signal Basti Men's group was declared as champion while DC Court Area Men group were adjudged as the runner-up.
Pastor Thritong Sangtam acknowledged the believers for availing their time for the sporting event. He said that such get together during holiday bring happiness and love among the church members. Moreover, it connects one another among the church members and builds relationship with God through sports. The pastor further appealed the gathering to continue to support the church.
Volleyball, badminton, table tennis, tug of war etc for both men and women were played during the two days event. The sports event is conducted annually during the festive season by the Sangtam Baptist Lithro Ducan.
