Dimapur: The Supply Colony Council, Dimapur in its executive meeting held on February 2 among other things deliberated at length on the issue of rearing of pigs in between the houses at drainage, roadside on receipt of complaint from various quarter causing health hazard. To this effect, the Council passed resolution unanimously prohibiting rearing of pigs in the colony in any form and direct to remove all such structure within one month time from the date of issue of this information for strict compliance, defaulter(s) will be finalized by imposing heavy fines. The council chairman I Pnager in a press release has requested all residents of the colony to comply and cooperate to this notification.
