Dimapur, August 18 (MExN): Two-day journalism course was conducted for the first year of B. Ph students in Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE), Dimapur on August 17 and 18.
It was informed in a press release that Fr. Jonas Kerketta sdb, the secretary of Social Communication wing of Dimapur Province was the resource person of the course and it was attended by around 47 students. The tcourse highlighted the importance of newspaper, its structure and the art of writing the news to the budding journalists.
During the course, the students were divided into groups and brought out different newspapers. Fr. VA Thomas, Director of SCHE, Fr. Sabu Jose, Principal of SCHE, Fr. CD Mathai, Dean of studies and Fr. Christudoss, Youth Director of the college were present attended the concluding session.
