Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) organised Fresher’s Day cum academic inaugural function on June 9 at Fr. Bernick’s Hall with Dr. Sanjay Chhabra, Principal of Unity College, Dimapur as the chief guest.
The college media club in a press release stated that Principal of SCHE Fr. Dr. Policarp Xalxo wished the First Semester students and new lecturers an enriching and fruitful years. He also made presentation of the academic report of 2016-17.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sanjay said, “To be honest what I am today is because of Don Bosco institution.” He encouraged the freshers and the new lecturers to keep on learning, for learning is a life-long process.
Rector and Director of SCHE Fr. Tom Karthik also exhorted the students to grasp all the opportunities and enjoy the college life.
The programme also saw various items, including prize distribution, choir-piece, gospel song, comedy, and football friendly match between the freshers and the college team.
