SCHE organizes Rongmei Youth fest

Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) organized “Rongmei Youth Fest” at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Diphupar on July 28.

A press release issued stated that the programme was conducted under the theme ‘Khatna Suna Kariumei – Together as one’ and the aim of the programme was to bring together the Rongmei Youth in Dimapur. The events of the programme included: Holy Mass by the Chief guest Dr Fr Nicholas Guangdiat sdb, Vice- Principal Bosco College of Teacher Education, Various competitions (Choir, duet and prayer dance), Motivational talks, chance games and entertainments.

The chief guest in his talk underscored uniqueness of Christian and Catholic faith. He stressed on the values coming together and working together in faith. He encouraged and motivated the   youth. Over 100 youth turned up for the occasion and the whole programme came to end with the sumptuous fellowship meal, the release added.
