DIMAPUR, JUNE 21 (MExN): Advisor for School Education & SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome along with officials of the Department of School Education visited Noklak and Shamator on June 19 and 20.
On June 20, the Advisor conducted a meeting with Khiamniungan Tribal Council, Khiamniungan Students Union and landowners of GHSS Noklak and Model School which was held at KGBV Danlepdong ward, Noklak. Two MLAs of the district P Longon and Benei M Lamthiu also attended during the meeting, informed a report from the DIPR.
The Advisor also visited Government Higher Secondary School, Noklak and interacted with the teachers.
The Advisor was accompanied by Commissioner & Secretary, Kevilenuo Angami; Principal Director, Thavaseelan K; State Mission Director SAMAGRA, Temsunaro Aier; Additional Director, Razouseyi Vese; Joint Mission Director, SAMAGRA, Dr Kevi Rio, Dy. Director, Erali Swu; Dy. Director, Avino Tase; and Sr. Accounts Officer, Lamnya Khiam among others.
The Advisor and his entourage also visited the International Trade Centre, Dan and Straightway Mission School at Dan Village before a meeting with Village Council members and Pangsha Area Students’ Union at Council Hall Dan.
The same day, the Advisor visited Government Higher Secondary School, Shamator. During the meeting, he appealed to the teachers to give their best for the welfare of the students without considering the area of posting.
