Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): The School Education department today informed to have cancelled a number of appointments under the establishment of DIS of Peren “against the post sanctioned by the Project Approval Board (PAB) of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, during 2009-10, against the Primary School upgraded to Middle School” and that they are “hereby cancelled.”
A circular from Commissioner & Secretary Mhathung Kithan, IAS stated: “The following appointments made vide order No. SSA/NAGA/UG/1/07-08, dated, Kohima the 16th July’10, under the establishment of DIS Peren against the post sanctioned by the Project Approval Board (PAB) of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, during 2009-10, against the Primary School upgraded to Middle School are hereby cancelled.” This decision was taken as the above appointments were made without going through the formal process of interview by the District Screening Committee, the department said.
Cancellation orders have been issued to all the individuals separately, the Commissioner stated. All in concern are informed that fresh appointments will be made against the posts through the District Screening Committee.
“All intending candidates including those whose appointments have been cancelled are advised to apply to the District Screening Committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner Peren immediately,” the department informed.
”In the interest of the public and in order not to deprive the Single Teacher Schools, the fresh appointments will be made as early as possible,” it added.
