
Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): A number of organizations under the department of School Education are urging the chief secretary of Nagaland not to ‘change’ the current Principal Director of the department as a restructuring process is currently on in the department. A note from leaders of various organizations stated only as ‘NSEAOA,’ ‘NGHFFEA’ and ‘ANSTA’ issued a copy of a note addressed to the chief secretary today.
“The department of School Education is the academic and professional department giving various trainings and imparting education to the children in GPS, GMS, GHS and GHSS. And all the department officers, teachers and other employees are appreciating the government for restructuring/revamping of the department of School Education at the right time for the right purpose and we are privileged to have the post of Principal-Director with Shri Bendangkokba, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, School Education,” the note said.
“However, the restructuring is still under process of implementation and it is yet (to be) completed and therefore, your esteemed authority is sincerely requested not to change the present Principal Director at this juncture,” the note added.
