Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): The 10th Sports Meet of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) under Nagaland University culminated on March 24 at the State Stadium, Dimapur.
Guest of honour at the closing ceremony, Dr. Tolto Metha, Member of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) gave away medals and certificates and also spoke on the importance of sports in building team spirit, social bonding, critical thinking etc.
The meet saw a total of 35 competitions which witnessed 80-90% participation from both students and employees, a press release from the institute stated.
The week-long sports commenced on March 20 with Colo Mero, Director of Life Sports, declaring the Meet open.
