Kohima: National Science Day in Kohima district will be celebrated by conducting a ‘Science Quiz’ at Little Flower Higher Secondary School on February 28, 10:30 am, where students from various educational institutions will participate. District Education Officer, Kohima, Senthang in a press release informed that winners will be awarded cash prizes and certificates. This celebration has been organized in pursuance of the letter of Director, Science and Technology, dated Kohima, January 28, 2014 informing on the celebration of National Science Day on February 28, 2014 throughout the country and a request to organise science competition programme in the district basing on the theme “Fostering Scientific Temper”.
