Mon, December 2 (MExN): Krishi Vigyan Kendra Mon organized Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting at KVK Conference Hall, Aboi on December 2.
According to updates from KVK Mon, Senior Scientist & Head, V Akashe Zhimomi the programme was chaired by P Kongham Phom, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Aboi on behalf of Director of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, Kohima.
Dr V Akashe Zhimomi, Senior Scientist & Head welcomed the gathering and highlighted the function of the committee. Dr Paihem Michui, ACTO (Animal Science), presented the Annual Progress Report 2020 and Annual Action Plan 2021 of KVK Mon, it said.
Altogether 16 members from various agri and allied departments, NGOs and progressive farmers attended the SAC meeting, the updates informed.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ruyosu Nakro, ACTO (Agricultural Extension), KVK Mon, it added.
