Mokokchung, July 30 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Bharat Scouts and Guides (MDBS&G) organised its induction and re-affirmation ceremony at the DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung on July 28.
The event witnessed the reaffirmation of Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma as the President and DSO, Zhopovi Zech as District Commissioner (S).
Sr SDEO, Tarepkaba was inducted as the District Secretary and Dr Sholongba, PHC, Ungma as the Vice President of MDBSG, stated a DIPR report.
Ajit Verma addressing the programme exhorted that Scouts and Guides should be rooted in historical movements, and guide the youth towards discipline, commitment and dedication to reignite the spirit of national development and societal growth.
The programme was graced by Akangtemsu Yaden, Youth Director, MTBA Y/M, welcome address by Tovili Wati (DOC) (G), vote of thanks by Samuel Sumi, S/M and benediction by, Sentila Chang G/C.
