Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): As part of the golden jubilee celebration of renunciation of Jain Saint Shri 108 Vidysagarji, Shree Digambar Jain Samaj, Dimapur is taking out a procession on June 28 from Jain Temple enroute Jain Bhawan-Shanti Rice Mill-NIIT-GS Road-Kalibari Road-Jain Hospital/ Park culminating at Jain Temple between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. A press release from Sanjay Sethi, IPR, SD Jain Samaj Dimapur regretted the inconvenience to be caused to the citizens of Dimapur. It further informed that there will be a Bhaktamar Vidhan at Jain Temple beginning 7:00 am and community feast at SD Jain Hr Sec School, besides lightings at all Jain houses in Dimapur on the occasion. To celebrate the event, various wings of Dimapur Jain Samaj also offered fruits etc to the inmates of District Hospital, Biblical Deaf Ministry, Mother Teresa Home, Wondangki Orphanage, Gautam Basti orphanage etc. on June 27. Born in Sadlaga, Madhya Pradesh, Shri Vidyasagarji took the celibacy and monkhood vows at the age of just 12 years, according to the release.
