Changtongya, May 1 (DIPR): Changtongya Sub-Divisional Departmental Coordination Forum meeting was held on April 28 at the Office Chamber of SDO (C), under the Chairmanship of SDO (C) Chumlamo Humtsoe. The meeting was hosted by APRO, Changtongya.
After thorough deliberation, the meeting decided to propose setting up of a Fire Brigade Station at Changtongya in the next DPDB meeting through the chairman.
Earlier, the house reviewed the meeting minutes of the last meeting and also decided to extend financial aid to the victims of April 24, 2017 fire incident through the SDDCF welfare fund.
The Chairman encouraged all heads of offices to perform their duties in serving the public. He also requested the Officer In-charge to ensure security to the public through the police personnel of the Town.
In the meeting, the house resolved to let the Town Hall only for public functions. The house also decided that the security personnel will be accommodated at the present BDO Quarter.
On the issue of cash crunch faced by all government employees at SBI Mokokchung, the house decided to write to the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung. The meeting further entrusted the Electrical Department to look after the Street lighting of the police points.
