Dimapur, Novemebr 13 (MExN): The SD Jain Higher Secondary School (SDJHSS) Dimapur represented Nagaland at the recently concluded “Bharat Ko Jano” quiz competition for North East Region organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Imphal, Manipur on November 11.
Five states from the North East region participated in the competition.
In the junior category two class VII students of SD Jain HSS Eepsha Chaudhury and Nikhil Jaiswal won the third position. The senior category was represented by Raj Deb of Class 10 and Rohan Biswas of Class 11 and secured the fourth position. The Nagaland Team was led byBishnu Bhattacharjee, Chief Coordinator, BVP and Dr Rama Shankar Shiromoni, General Secretary, BVP. The school team in charge was Kamal Kanti Chaudhury.
The participants of the winning team were felicitated in the School Assembly by Reji Abraham, Principal. He congratulated the students for achieving a special gift for the school and honour for the state of Nagaland. He also thanked the organizers for giving such wonderful opportunity for the students to get exposure outside the realms of their school and native place.
