SDO (C) Pughoboto informs on free health camp

Pughoboto, March 5 (MExN): A free health camp will be conducted at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Pughoboto, on March 7 from 9 am onwards in observance of International Women’s Day 2026, officials said on Thursday.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Pughoboto Yithachu Thur (NCS) informed that the health camp is a collaborative initiative of CHC Pughoboto, the district administration Pughoboto and the Faith Welfare Society. The camp is being organised with sponsorship from the Faith Welfare Society, according to a DIPR update.

The initiative aims to bring specialist healthcare services closer to the people and will offer comprehensive medical consultations and diagnostic screening, including tests for kidney, liver, thyroid and blood sugar.

Specialist consultation services will also be available in the fields of ophthalmology, general medicine, ENT, head and neck, surgery, dental care and oral and maxillofacial treatment.

All medical consultations, diagnostic services and prescribed medicines will be provided free of cost to beneficiaries attending the camp.

The SDO (C) has requested all Village Council Chairmen and Gaon Buras (GBs) to give wide publicity to the programme within their respective jurisdictions and mobilise maximum participation, particularly among women and economically weaker sections, to avail the benefits of the health camp.
