Pughoboto: The monthly meeting of Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board was held on March 24 in the office of the ADC Pughoboto under the chairmanship of ADC & Vice Chairman SDPDB, Nokchasashi. SDO (C) & Member Secretary Er. Namang Sepong Chang welcomed all the members to the meeting and introduced the newly posted ADC Pughoboto to the members present.
While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the chairman informed the house that delegation of DDO powers required fulfillment of certain laid down criteria and requested all the departments without DDO power to submit estimated budget for the current financial year so that board can examine the same for any recommendation to be made. During the meeting, a Power Point presentation was given by the department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, Pughoboto.
On the agenda put forward by SDEO Pughoboto for construction of SDEO's residence and staff quarters at Pughoboto, the chairman viewed that it was submitted without any plan or technical estimate and therefore requested SDEO to resubmit the proposal along with proper plan and technical estimate so that board would forward it to the competent authority. Regarding the agenda submitted by SABAK for construction of drainage, footstep and retaining wall, the house decided to defer the matter for the next meeting due to the absence of the Parliamentary Secretary and Chairman SDPDB Pughoboto.
The Chairman requested the members to ensure the attendance of all polling personnel during the trainings. He also directed all the members to be in their respective place of posting to ensure performance of allotted duties by all the government employees working in their respective departments. Due to the ongoing election process schedule, the next SDPDB meeting would be decided and intimated at a later date.
