Pughoboto, September 6 (MExN): The Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) submitted a comprehensive report on their recent school visitation program under the Pughoboto subdivision during the Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) meeting held at the DB Hall of the ADC office.
The report, presented by SAKK President Hutoka Assumi, highlighted the challenges faced by educational institutions in the region, including staff shortages and inadequate infrastructure.
The visitation aimed to assess the condition of schools, identify gaps in resources, and document the concerns raised by school administrators and teachers. Addressing these issues, the SDPDB discussed the need for strategic planning and immediate actions to improve the educational environment for students. The board also recommended the rationalisation of teachers within the subdivision to ensure balanced distribution of staff across schools.
In addition to education, the meeting proposed the construction of a tourist site at Pughoto to promote tourism in the area. The meeting was chaired by MLA and SDPDB Chairman Dr. Sukhato A. Sema, along with ADC and Vice Chairman Tiameren Chang.
