PUGHOBOTO, JUNE 7 (MExN): SDPDB Pughoboto felicitated UPSC AIR 431 rank holder Tolino K Chishi and HSLC & HSSLC Toppers at the Felicitation cum SDPDB meeting held at Pughoboto on June 6. The programme was chaired by MLA, Dr Sukhato A Sema.
UPSC AIR 431 Tolino K Chishi, CISF AC (EXE) LDC L Esther Sumi, HSSLC 8th Rank Jevi Futhena and HSLC 8th Rank Vini R Sheqi were felicitated by MLA Dr Sukhato A Sema and ADC Tiameren Chang in the presence of Civil Society Organisations including Sumi Aphuyemi Totimi Hoho, Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, Sumi Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho and other SDPDB members, a DIPR report stated.
Tolino expressed her happiness and heartfelt gratitude to all Sumi Aphuyemis and entire Sumi community for the prayers and support throughout the three stages of UPSC examination that she went through with hard work, sacrifices and dedication. This achievement is not only a personal milestone but a milestone of all Sumis and Sumi Aphuyemis, she said.
MLA Dr Sukhato A Sema congratulated Tolino for being the first amongst the Sumi Aphuyemis to achieve grand success in the prestigious UPSC Examination. Citing the exemplary achievement of Tolino, the MLA encouraged the HSSLC & HSLC Toppers to pursue greater achievements in the future too.
Congratulating the successful aspirant and the students, ADC Tiameren Chang expressed his pride and happiness with the grand academic achievements that occurred during his tenure and conveyed his best wishes for their future endeavor.
After deliberating on the agendas, the board recommended for construction of Veterinary Dispensary, construction of Veterinary Doctor & Staff quarter and renovation of SATWO Guest House at Pughoboto. Rationalization of teachers within Pughoboto Sub-Division was also recommended and SDPDB Educational Trust Fund was agreed upon by all members for a monthly collection of minimum ₹500 for the welfare of the student community, the DIPR report said.
