Kohima, December 7 (MExN): Two cadres of NSCN/GPRN (K) were arrested from general area of Kezieke Market, Kohima on December 6 for “extortion activities.” The duo was arrested in a joint operation with Police representative based on specific input regarding their involvement in extortion activities in the locality, stated a press release from HQ IGAR(N). A total of 5 extortion slips and Rs 6,160 were recovered from them, it said. The apprehended cadres along with the recovered items were handed over to Police Station North Kohima, for further investigation, it added.
