Kohima, June 12 (MExN): Farewell programme in honour of Kevitseinuo, Secretary for Higher & Technical Education department, Nagaland was held on May 31 at Nerhe Phezha Village, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Animi Lotha, Under Secretary, H&TE department.
A DIPR report stated that Kevitseinuo in her speech acknowledged the contribution of the officers and staff of the department and further exhorted the members to imbibe the spirit of excellence and improve in their sphere of work.
C Rongsenrenla, Joint Secretary, H&TE stated the outgoing officer was sincere, dedicated and approachable. Kevitseinuo, she added, will be remembered for her amiable and steady composure while handling sensitive situations.
Speeches in honour of the outgoing officer were delivered by Deputy Director & Nodal Officer, Nokhwenü Veronica, Nodal Officer of Technical Education, Weprenyi Khutso and JSO H&TE, Michael Metmei.
Kevitseinuo had a vibrant career having served the government in different capacities till she retired as Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, the report added.
