A week long 39th Sports Meet & 2nd Edition Naga Wrestling Championship 2023 of the Sekrüzu Area Sports Association (SASA) concluded on January 10 in Sekrüzu HQ under Phek district.
Nine Teams, which included; Dzülha, Thürütsüswu, Khütsa, Phühgi, Rüzazho, New Rüzazho, Suthozu Old, Suthozu New and Sekrüzu Town took part in the meet.
The tournament was hosted by Phühgi Youth Welfare Union.
Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) president Küdecho Khamo graced the closing function.
In his address, Khamo urged the sportspersons to be committed and disciplined to excel in their sporting career.
He stated that the state government is serious about promotion of games and sports in the state.
The closing function was chaired by SASA general secretary while vote of thanks was proposed by SASA finance secretary Cekrolhü Sapu.
