Mokokchung, September 29 (MExN): A one day seminar on Child and Women Rights, jointly organized by Nagaland Alliance for Children and Women Rights and Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with Care & Support Society, Mokokchung was held on September 28 at Ongpangkong Salang, Mokokchung.
Topics on Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), Protection of Women against Domestic Violence Act and reference to Ao Naga context, Child Labour, Adoption and Surrogacy were discussed in the seminar.
The programme was chaired by Yangerienla, Counsellor FCC. Secretary ABAM Women Ministry, Impur, Alemla Mozer said the invocation while welcome address was delivered by Assistant Director C & SS.
Resource persons in the seminar were Imkong Jamir, Retainer Lawyer MDLSA Sentinaro, District Project Assistant MDLS and Mapujungla, Panel Lawyer MDLSA.
