Seminar on entrepreneurship at Patkai Christian College

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): A seminar on entrepreneurship was organised by The Retail Management and IT Diploma Course unit of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous), Chumukedima, Dimapur, on October 13 at the college Conference Hall.  

The programme was graced by Neichute Doulo, CEO and Coordinator of Entrepreneurs Associate (EA), Kohima and Neingulie Nakhro as resource persons. The resource persons shared their rich experiences of how they climbed up the ladder of leadership in business from a very humble beginning. They urged the participants to change the attitude from seeking government job to that of venturing into business. They emphasised that business is the only way out to bring about economic development through self-dependency in the State. They are of the view that Nagaland is a ‘Land of Honey, Milk and Butter’ where opportunities await every willing heart.  

The Principal of the college, Hüsazü Epao gave a brief introduction on the resource persons which was followed by words of welcome from the chairman of the programme, Dr. Timothy Langwangbe. The programme was attended by the faculty and students from the Departments of Commerce, Economics and Computer Science along with the Retail Management students. The seminar concluded with words of appreciation proposed by Husatolu, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
