Kohima, October 27 (MExN): A seminar on dissemination of technology on organic farming was held on October 24 at R. Khel Panchayat Hall, Viswema in Kohima district.
It was held under the banner of “Community Development Through Polytechnics” and organized by Government Polytechnic, Kohima in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima with the involvement of members of 15th Southern Angami-II A/C, NDPP.
It was sponsored by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi.
Nagaland’s youth resources and sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha, who is an elected representative from 15th Southern Angami-II A/C, initiated this seminar to promote the method of yielding better outcome in organic farming in the village.
Around 100 farmers participated in the seminar.
