Kohima, April 5 (DIPR): A seminar on the theme ‘Women & Children-Ensuring their Social Security’ will be held at ATI, Kohima on April 8, 2011. The EAC and AEO Probationers undergoing training at ATI in association with the Department of Women Development is organising the seminar. The resource persons for the seminar include Rupa, IPS, AIGP (Adm) Police Headquarter, Kohima, Advocate S.M. Ozukum, Director Prodigals Home, Dimapur, K. Ela and NSACS. They will be speaking on the topics ‘Illegal trafficking in Women and Children’, ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence’, Commercial Sex Workers in Nagaland & the Present Scenario’ and ‘HIV/AIDS and You-Risks & Consequences’. There will also be a discussion session and documentary film show.
Joint Director, ATI, L. Youdang Jamir has informed that bus services will be provided for the seminar at the following pick-up points: P.R. Hill-8:30 a.m., MLA Junction- 8:40 a.m., Keziekie bus stop- 8:50 a.m., Tin Patti junction-9:00 a.m. Another route will also be provided from High School Junction at 8:45 a.m., Tinpatti junction-9:00 a.m. and Don Bosco junction-9:10 a.m.
