Senators reminded on ministry of reconciliation

Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): The last day of the Board of Theological Education of the Senate of Serampore College (University) meeting at Clark Theological College (CTC) started with devotion led by Rev. Dr Temjen Jamir, Dean of Post-graduate Studies, CTC.
The speaker was Rev. Manmashi Ekka, Principal of Gossner Theological College, Ranchi. On the basis of Matthew 5:10, he shared on the importance of the ministry of reconciliation, which has its source in the reconciling work of God in Jesus Christ. He reminded the Senators that peace and reconciliation is the way to progress, development and improvement and also urged them to concentrate on facing challenges and contributing to the process of peace and reconciliation.
The business session of the Senators will be followed by a public dinner at 5:00pm and a felicitation function at 6:00pm hosted by Clark Theological College in honor of the Senators, graduates and guests attending the Serampore College (University) Convocation on February 5, 2011.
