Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): A sensitization programme on Right to Information Act 2005 was held at the conference hall of Soil & Water Conservation Directorate on September 22, 2011. A press note issued by L. Chubaonen, APIO, Directorate of Soil & Water Conservation, Nagaland stated that during the conference, Chief Information Commissioner, Lalhuma IAS (Retired) presented a detailed power point presentation on the provision and how government officials should promptly respond to RTI Act in the state. Thereafter, it was followed by interaction session, where officials shared their experiences and cleared their doubts through horses’ mouth.
During introductory session, Jt. Director & PIO of Soil & Water conservation department presented activities of the department through impressive power point programme. The programme was chaired by the Secretary to the government, L. Yantsowo Lotha IAS and vote of thanks was proposed by the Director, R.T. Asang.
