Mon, August 9 (MExN): District level Sensitization programme on Scholarship Scheme 2019-20 was held at Council hall Mon on August 8.
Deputy Director & Nodal Officer Scholarship Nagaland, Limadangit Jamir has requested the teaching community to go extra mile in helping the students to avail the scholarship schemes. He said that the head of the institution and the teachers are to play a vital role in order to avail the schemes for the students. He informed that the Ministry has opened the National Scholarship Portal (NPS) for applying online application through which the students can apply.
SDEO Mon, K Limhathung Odyuo requested the teachers to spread awareness for proper implementation on scholarship scheme.Jangsemba Tzudir, a resource person of the programme spoke on the Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme for Minorities, Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students Studying in Class IX & X and Nagaland Government Students Meritorious Award.
