Baptist Theological College (BTC), Pfütsero, is hosting a series of Board and Senate meetings of the Senate of Serampore College (University) from November 20 to 22 at BTC, T Chikri, Pfutsero under Phek district.
The event commenced with Morning Devotion on November 20, wherein Rev Dr Shimreingam Shimray, Principal, Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, delivered the message of God. Students of BTC presented special song.
Two key meetings for 50th Board Meeting & Seminar of the Board of Theological Education of the Senate of Serampore College (BTESSC) and 99th Meeting of the Senate of Serampore College commenced today and it will continue till November 22.
The meetings and seminar was attended by the Council members of the Senate of Serampore, which consists of the Senators and the Principals from 71 theological colleges affiliated with the Senate of Serampore College (University), West Bengal and includes invitees, representatives, and partner organisations.
Rev Dr VS Varughese, Principal, Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam, will deliver the message during the Morning Devotion on November 21.
This gathering marks a historic occasion for BTC, Pfütsero and the theological education fraternity in India.
