Kohima, August 20 (MExN): Nagaland’s Department of Sericulture participated in the 24th International Congress on Sericulture and Silk Industry held under the theme “Silk for the Green World and Sustainable Development” from August 10 to 13 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand. It was jointly organized by Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture, Thailand and International Sericultural Commission (ISC), Bangalore, India. The Nagaland delegates were EE Pangteang, Parliamentary Secretary, Sericulture and Home Guards & Civil Defence, CM Tsanglao, Secretary, Sericulture Department, Chandan Basera, Director of Sericulture, and Chubameren, Joint Director, Sericulture Department.
