Kohima, July 13 (MExN): Department of Sericulture organised a State level workshop on 3rd Party Evaluation Report conducted by M/s NABCONS for the implementation of Integrated Sericulture Development Project (ISDP) & Intensive Bivoltine Sericulture Development Project (IBSDP) under North Eastern Region Textiles Promotion Schemes (NERTPS) on July 11 at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.
Commissioner & Secretary, Sericulture, Angau I. Thou, IAS; Scientist-D & Head, Regional Office, Central Silk Board, Government of India, BN Choudhury; and Director of Sericulture, Imtisosang Ao highlighted the observations and suggestions of the Evaluation.
Future road maps for NERTPS project was framed by the expert panel from Central Silk Board, Government of India. About 150 progressive farmers from all the districts participated in the workshop.
