DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): The East Dimapur Business Association (EDBA) today informed that there has been a series of robberies of around 8 shops on Dimapur over the last 5 days. A press note from the EDBA informed businesses under its jurisdiction that the robberies were committed by breaking the locks and shutters of the shops and looted of goods and cash worth lakhs of rupees. “Though case has been registered in this regard but no one has been arrested yet,” the EDBA said, while advising shop owners to take preventive measures to protect their shops from such kind of incidents. The EDBA further requested all concerned citizens to inform the Police or the office bearers of EDBA if they see any untoward incident happening in and around the shops.
